Michael
Lomas is a graduate of The Second City in Detroit. He
co-wrote and performed in their alternative productions, Genital
Ben and Homeless for the Holidays. Michael also has
a writing credit for the Second City's Touring Company. He has
been the director of The Second City-Detroit Improv Camp for Kids
since 1998.
Michael has been in
numerous Improv troupes, but his two favorites are The 3rd Level,
where he was a major part of Comic Relief 98' in Detroit, and Motor
City Improv. Michael is a founding member of Motor
City Improv who co-wrote and was a part of the cast for the
following revues: His and Hurricane, The Bare Wit Project,
The Downtown Ho, Ho, Hoe-down, Bringin' Home the Bacon (A show
inspired by the Footloose Soundtrack), Drai
Hoomph, The One
Hoomph or Two Reunion Tour and Naughty or Nice: Motor City
Improv is Naughty! Besides Improv and Sketch comedy,
Michael won acting awards for theatrical productions such as Crazy
for You and Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
Mike resides in
Southgate, MI with his loving wife Kelly and daughter Nina.
